Edubuntu, also previously known as Ubuntu Education Edition, is an official derivative of the Ubuntu operating system designed for use in classrooms inside schools, homes and communities.

Edubuntu has been developed in collaboration with teachers and technologists in multiple countries. Edubuntu is built on top of the Ubuntu base, incorporates the LTSP thin client architecture and several education-specific applications, and is aimed at users aged 6 to 18. It is designed for easy installation and ongoing system maintenance.

The Republic of Macedonia is using Edubuntu in all primary and secondary schools. The program, called Computer for every child, was started in 2008.

And the best part about Edubuntu is that it's totally "free"! So you can download it, distribute it and even change it as you wish!

The Curious Case of Benjamin Button

This film is worthy of a 10/10 rating simply because of its imaginative and complex nature.

This movie tells the story of Benjamin Button, a baby born an old man of eighty, destined to die in the mere form of a new born.

I consired this movie very special because I havent seen anything like it so far. The length of the movie made me thing it was kinda boring....I was defenitely wrong, it's got my attention from the beginning till the end. It's full of emotional and touching scenes, including the grand finale, where it brings forth Benjamin Button's 'younger' years as an old man.

The cast is outstanding: Brad Pitt played a fantatic role as a reverse-aging man, and Cate went well as his childhood friend.

Anyway, this movie is absolutely great and I recommend it to anyone who really loves the genre.

Song of the South - A trip back in time!!!

I watched this movie the other day and it was just like a trip back in time...

It made me remember my childhood when my big brother (Marcus) and Iused to watch it on TV in the late 80s. It's like experiencing all those feelings again... The songs... Oh, they really make me feel happy!!! I couldn't take the tune of  "Zip-A-Dee-Doo-Dah" out of my head... Wherever I was, I was sing the song: Zip-a-dee-doo-dah, Zip-a-dee-ay! / My oh my what a wonderful day!

Yes!!!... Those were wonderful days indeed!!! Too bad that's still the only way we have to turn back in time...

So, if you ever got the chance to watch this amazing Oscar-winning movie from 1946, go for it!!! It's an experience you won't forget!!!

PS: I hope they don't take too long to release it on DVD. It would be a dream come true!!!

To date, she has sold over ten million albums and over 35 million singles worldwide.In May 2010, Time magazine included Gaga in its annual Time 100 list of the most influential people in the world.

Aside from recording music, Lady Gaga has contributed to a number of charities and causes throughout her career. In the wake of the 2010 Haiti earthquake there were numerous celebrities working together for the cause of helping restore what had been destroyed, and also helping those left to survive. Gaga donated all of her proceeds from the January 24 show of her current tour, the Monster Ball (ticket sales, merchandise, etc.), and from her online store; the total amount donated was over $500,000. She has also worked to raise awareness among young women about the risk of HIV/AIDS. Along with recording artist Cyndi Lauper, Gaga teamed up with MAC AIDS Fund's VIVA Glam campaign, which raised over $160 million to fight against AIDS and HIV, and bring awareness about the diseases to women around the world. All proceeds from a purchase of a VIVA Glam lipgloss or lipstick go directly towards the fund to aid those infected with the disease. In a statement, Gaga said that, "We want women to feel strong and feel strong enough that they can remember to protect themselves. To have this lipstick as a reminder in your purse, that when your man is laying naked in bed, you go into the bathroom, you put your lipstick on, and you bring a condom out with you...There are no exceptions."
